Our little jewel right on our doorstep, has sparkling clear water you can’t resist diving in! Keep an eye out for friendly bottle nose dolphins, many small colourful fish, sea eagles and much more. It’s nice and protected from the ocean swells and you can see up to 50 different species of fish.

Cook Island Snorkelling Site
Cook Island (Jungarra Ngarrian) known as Turtle Island, is located less then 1km off Fingal Head, the tiny volcanic outcrop of Cook Island is home to a permanent population of Green, Hawksbill & Loggerhead Turtles.
Cook Island Aquatic Reserve is famous for its colony of green sea turtles, pufferfish, giant Queensland grouper and clownfish. Plenty of nudibranchs, stingrays, wobbegongs and even leopard shark in summer and grey nurse shark in winter.

Seasickenss:
We strongly recommend take seasickness remedy 30 minutes prior to boarding (as well as the night before if you want extra insurance), and bring the rest with you. Travacalm original, Travalcalm HO and Kwells are 3 recommended types. Ginger/Natural remedy does not work.
